The Happy Couple by Alysia Harris. P.O.W.

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekends! I'm really exited about this week's poem of the week! It's another spoken word video (I know, I know, I promise next week it will be something you can read!) by an amazing poet named Alysia Harris. I originally came across Alysia's poetry a few years back and was impressed by the amount of passion she puts into her words. She delivers in such a powerful manner that you cannot help but to feel every emotion along with her. It is moments like these, where the whole heart is put into showing the audience what you mean that inspires me and motivates me to continue to improve upon my own performance.
