Analog Rest Mail Club ✉️

Analog Rest Mail Club ✉️

A quarterly snail mail club filled with analog joy — mini zines, poems, writing prompts, art, and tiny rest rituals delivered straight to your mailbox.

Rest is something I have been struggling with for years. I realized recently that I didn’t actually know what rest truly was. Sure, I knew things like laying down or taking a nap counted. But I didn’t know they weren’t the only types of rest. Now, I rest by making art & doodling. By enjoying a walk on a nice day. By reading and writing.

Play is rest. Joy is rest.

I decided to create Analog Rest Mail Club for a few reasons. One, a friend sent me snail mail and it was such a nice thing to find in my mailbox. I knew I wanted to gift that feeling to others. And two, I may know what rest is now, but I’m terrible at actually doing it. This club will help me hold myself accountable, and maybe it will do the same for you!

If you join after January 15 / April 15 / July 15 / October 15, your subscription will begin with the next quarter’s mail (plus that quarter’s digital goodies).

What You Can Expect

You’ll get one mailed envelope each quarter, plus two digital rest offerings in the months you don’t receive physical mail.

I wanted to be realistic about this. Most snail mail clubs are monthly, but I know I don’t have the capacity to do it that quickly right now. I am in awe of the artists who produce such beautiful work with such quick turnaround. In order to offer you something of value and to allow myself to enjoy this process in a restful way, this will be a quarterly mail club. Every 3 months you can expect a new letter in your mailbox from me!

Here’s everything you’ll find tucked inside your envelope each quarter…

  • I am a poet first & foremost, so expect a new poem each quarter, usually surrounding the current theme. This will be a poem that I write just for you, my Analogers!

  • Each quarter you will find a new mini zine in the envelope! A mini zine is an 8-page folded treasure trove. Expect art, thoughts, ideas, tips, recommendations, and more!

  • I’m excited to write to you all! I’ll share personal things, what I’m trying, how I’m resting…whatever is on my mind. I hope you will enjoy reading them!

  • These are invitations to do small tasks that are restorative. They’ll be simple like finding a moment in your day to take 3 deep breaths or using your favorite mug all week even if it’s just to drink water.

  • Each quarter you’ll also receive a writing prompt! You can use it as a jumping off point to write a poem, a story, a journal entry, or maybe a letter to a friend!

  • Each quarter you’ll find other goodies stuffed in the envelope too! Those can include but are not limited to:

    • Stickers

    • Coloring pages

    • Word Searches

    • Challenges

    • Post Cards

    • Bookmarks

    • Prints

What You’ll Receive Each Month

Month 1 (end of the month):
📪 Your envelope is headed to your mailbox — includes the themed snail mail including things like: mini-zine, your letter, sticker(s), poem, etc.

Month 2:
💌 A small digital rest offering (a poem, printable coloring page, zentangle, etc.) arrives in your inbox.

Month 3:
💌 Another small digital rest offering arrives in your inbox.
Then the next quarter’s cycle begins

How Your Subscription Works

Analog Rest Mail Club is open year-round!
If you subscribe before the 15th of the first month of a quarter (Jan 15, Apr 15, Jul 15, Oct 15), you’ll receive that quarter’s themed mail at the end of the month.

If you subscribe after the 15th, your membership will begin with the next quarter’s theme and digital rest goodies.

This keeps the workflow gentle for me and extra clear for you + it ensures every issue you receive is intentional in its curation.

This club is for you if you…

  • are ready to find what feels restful to you.

  • love tactile, offline, analog vibes!

  • miss getting fun mail (boo bills, bring on the happy mail)!

  • want gentle invitations to slow down & be present.

  • enjoy art, writing, or creative reflection.

FAQ

  • Analog Rest Mail Club letters go out at the very end of the first month of each quarter:

    • January

    • April

    • July

    • October

You’ll receive an email when your envelope is on the way! Please note: tracking isn’t available for U.S. or international letters at this time.

  • It’s $24 per quarter, billed every 3 months. That covers materials, printing, creative time, and free shipping—both in the U.S. and internationally.

Prefer to pay once? You can purchase four issues for $88, a discounted rate (and of course, free shipping) as an annual payment.

Want to break it up into chunks? You can do $8 per month!

  • Yes! I’m happy to ship worldwide.

International delivery times will vary depending on where you live.

NOTE: If you live in an area that does not accept regular mail (meaning you have to receive letters and packages via a delivery service), I unfortunately won’t be able to ship to you. But reach out and we can see about getting you a digital subscription!

  • Absolutely! Just put their name and address in the shipping information at checkout. If you’d like to include a short note inside their first envelope, you can email it to me after purchase!

  • Nope! Each issue is completely new.
Occasionally, I may tuck in a leftover sticker or extra goody from a past issue as a bonus, but the main materials and themes will always be new.

  • Great question! If you join after the cut off date / after an issue has already shipped, you’ll be subscribed for the next one.

Cut off will be the 15th of the 1st month of the quarter:

    • January 15th

    • April 15th

    • July 15th

    • October 15th

  • Yes. You can cancel before the next billing date and you won’t be charged for the following quarter.

  • Both! The main purpose is for this to be a physical snail-mail club. An envelope arrives in your actual mailbox every quarter.

BUT you’ll also receive 2 digital rest offerings via email in the other months of the quarter. Think: printable coloring pages, a poem, QR code to song or book lists I curate.

I also created a member site where you’ll find the letter & digital rest offering archives, plus other fun things like playlists. This is so that we can stay connected in the interim!

  • Your envelope will be standard letter size, up to 1 oz. Okay, I’ll try to keep it at 1 oz max for postage sake lol, I just want to send you sooooo much! Don’t worry, all the goodies fit neatly inside it.

  • You can either:

    1. Email me at connect@talichajpoetry.com to let me know you’ll be moving soon.

    2. You can fill out the Address Update Form which you can find in your welcome email and/or by logging into The Mailbox.

  • If something goes missing, email me and I’ll make it right. I will ensure you get the full content of your issue.
