Each week focuses on a different part of self, using poetry to ask questions, hold space, and honor the infinite versions of who you are.   • Go from wondering about your origins to seeing them on the page, creating a poem that captures and celebrates your many beginnings.

Week Two: The Multiverse of Self: Your Present Reality - Jan 29

  • It’s easy to get caught up in routine but it’s time to start feeling grounded in the present, in this session we will read & creating poems that give new meaning to your daily life.

Week Three: The Multiverse of Self: The Ifs, Buts, and Maybes - Feb 5

  • Curious about your unchosen paths? We will explore the versions of ourselves that could have been.

Week Four: The Multiverse of Self: Crafting Self with Borrowed Forms - Feb 12

  • Go from searching for ways to be heard to finding unexpected self-expression, creating writing that makes you feel both seen and creatively recharged.

Week Five: The Multiverse of Self: Future Casting - Feb 19

  • Uncertainty about the future is valid, but there is comfort in facing that knowledge by with the courage to imagine who you’ll become.

Week Six: The Multiverse of Self: What We’ve Lost - Feb 26

  • In this workshop, you’ll move from feeling isolated in loss to finding solidarity and voice, with poems that capture both absence and resilience.

Is this the same workshop series from Camp Write Start?

Yes, this is the same series, with a slight change—during Camp Write Start, it was a 4-week course. I've now expanded it to a 6-week series, adding two new sessions for an even richer experience.

What if something comes up and I miss a class?

No worries! All sessions will be recorded, so you can catch up on anything you miss and stay connected to the experience.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

If you need to cancel before the first class, you can request a refund (minus a $25 processing fee).

If class has already begun, you may request credit for the remaining value of the course.

Can I attend just one or a few sessions instead of the entire series?

Yes! While full participation offers a deeper dive into each aspect of self-exploration, you’re welcome to drop in for sessions that resonate most with you. Drop-ins are available for $30 per session.

Is this workshop accessible?

Yes! I strive to make this workshop as inclusive as possible. Closed captioning will be available during all live sessions, and recordings will be accompanied by full transcripts. Course materials will be shared via Notion, but a PDF version is also available upon request. If you have additional accessibility needs, please feel free to reach out.

What level of experience do I need to join?

This series is open to all levels! Whether you're new to poetry or have years of experience, this space is created for everyone to explore, write, and connect.

Will there be opportunities to share my writing?

Yes! Each session includes an optional sharing time. You’ll have a chance to read your work in a supportive space if you choose, but there’s no pressure to share if you’d prefer to keep your writing private.

How will I receive the recordings and other materials?

Recordings and weekly workshop packets will be sent via email, usually within 24 hours after each session.
