It’s my birthday! What better way to celebrate than in community doing the the thing I love? Come dive into the beautiful, surprising, and sometimes difficult aspects of growing older. This 2 hour generative workshop will challenge you to reflect on your own experiences and origins. Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, this workshop is for you!
This will be virtual via Zoom at 7PM EST on September 17th. You will receive the link no later than an hour before the workshop begins.
Standard cost of this workshop is $25 but it’s pay what you can! Even if you can’t pay, please still join me!
NOTE: If you choose the $0 option it will make you enter your address in the billing section but will not ask for card information. There is no way to avoid entering it because of the system, but it will not charge you. This is how you will get added to the email list for the link.

Can I ask how old you are?
NO! That’s so rude I can’t believe you’d even think to ask! Kidding! I’m turning 40 (gasp) on September 17th.
How much does it cost?
The suggested cost is $25. However, the most important thing is that you are able to be there. So, if you only have $5 or even $0, I want you to sign up! Likewise, if you’d like to pay more than the suggested $20 to help someone out (or because you just think I’m dope and want to gift me 💜) you can!
Is there a deadline to sign up?
Registration will be open right up until an hour or so before the workshop begins. I ask that you please RSVP (sign up) as soon as possible. This is so I don’t stress out that no one is showing up to my birthday party, um, I mean workshop.
I’ve never attended a workshop before, is that okay?
Heck yeah! This workshop is for all levels of writers!
Do I have to interact?
Absolutely not. I would love to hear your thoughts during discussion and your poem during read back if you’re comfortable. But there is NO PRESSURE at all for you to unmute your mic or even turn on your camera. You also will have the option to communicate in the zoom chat if that feels less stressful.
